On August 26, 2011 my brother Tim and I participated in your 8 hour ATV tour to the Knik Glacier. After this tour we both agreed that this was far better than what we
expected but at that time we were only a little more than half way through our trip
throughout Alaska and Canada.
As we were completing this trip and only hours from home we talked about what
was the most memorable experiences of our 30 day 9200+ mile journey. We both agreed
that this ATV tour was our most memorable day of our trip. We both enjoyed the fishing
and scenery throughout Alaska, however; this tour really put us in contact with the
outdoors and some of what it provides.
The equipment was very good as well as our guide Brian, who did a wonderful
job of keeping all of us safe throughout the day. Lunch was a very nice touch, served up
hot at the terminus of the glacier.
Im not sure if or when there will be another opportunity for me to be in Alaska,
but if there is, some way I'll schedule another one of these tours, perhaps a multi-day.
